Most SPI website pages (Home is the exception) display their path in the
document tree. For example,
https://www.spi-inc.org/meetings/agendas/2021/2021-07-12/ contains:

> SPI <https://www.spi-inc.org/>/ meetings
> <https://www.spi-inc.org/meetings/>/ agendas
> <https://www.spi-inc.org/meetings/agendas/>/ 2021
> <https://www.spi-inc.org/meetings/agendas/2021/>/ 2021-07-12
However, some of that is not visible. Depending on the page and on the
viewport's width, this may include the bottom of the words, as they
overlap with white padding at the top of the menu. With a medium-width
viewport and a long path, this becomes easy to see:

In the above example, all characters of the path are partially hidden,
except for those following "20".

My testing on Firefox 157 suggests the menu can no longer hide the page
path. However, this arguably persists in the form of an even subtler bug.

When the viewport is narrow enough for the path to be split on several
lines, the path can now hide itself, later components slightly hiding
the bottom of earlier ones (see the "g"s):

The specific layout this shows I only obtain with Firefox's sidebar
showing. This is presumably a Gecko bug, but there is still a lesser bug
without the bar or in Google Chrome.

Hello Philippe,

Thanks for reporting the issue! This is now fixed.

It is best to report issues at sysadmin(at)rt(dot)spi-inc(dot)org for easier tracking and to keep this list low-volume

Regards,

My “pleasure”

As the following screenshot shows, the vertical layout remains poor, but
there is indeed no overlap anymore:

Thank you, I marked the issue as fixed.

While this list may currently be low-volume, it is to my understanding
our mailing list which should have the highest volume. I would be happy
to report somewhere else anyway, but according to our website,
sysadmin(at)rt(dot)spi-inc(dot)org is for system administration issues. I assume
stylesheet issues should rather be reported to webmaster(at)spi-inc(dot)org,
but that still wouldn't *replace* spi-general, as it is not archived (to
my knowledge).
