Hi,
I just have the following question:
Is the Name Debian in any way protected as a Trademark or so?
Especially in Europe/Germany?

Yes, in the United States.

Someone was supposed to be looking into getting a EG Trademark, but I
havn't heard back from that person...

Nils Lohners move introduced some delay there, but we fully intended to
register a trademark in Europe.
