It was the _League for Programming Freedom_. Their web site,
http://www.lpf.org/ is now owned by the Libertarian Party of Florida.

AFAIK the LPF never had www.lpf.org. At any rate, the current website
is at <URL:http://lpf.ai.mit.edu>.
