Hello all,

Could one of the SPI board comment on the state of the payment
queue please. We have a contributor's travel expense claim waiting
about three weeks already, and at this rate payment will slip into
next month (which can make balancing personal finances harder).

Thank you,

Peter

There is a large back log due to multiple conference travel
reimbursement batches being submitted. The Treasury team is processing
tickets as quickly as they can. There is a Treasury Team sprint in NYC
Wednesday and Thursday this week so the team will have dedicated time to
work on processing requests in addition to any time they spend
addressing the backlog outside of the sprint.

Thank you for the quick reply Michael.

Fingers crossed the Treasury Team sprint will tackle the backlog this week then.

Thank you to the Treasury Team - the NYC sprint this week seems
to have worked :)

For the record, there were >80 tickets in the accounts payable
recently (which is the highest level I've seen due to, as Michael
mentioned, several big conferences happening recently). The
queue has 3 tickets right now (all of which require investigation
with banks or further information).

Thanks to Michael and Martin (zobel)!
